Rachel Verlik, Founder
Executive/Career Coach and Consultant
Rachel's coaching and consulting services center on her philosophy of working with the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and building meaningful relationships with her clients. She works with individuals, leaders, and organizations to identify their values and desired outcomes, then build a road map to achieve those goals.
Rachel is a graduate of Georgetown University’s Leadership Coaching Program and holds an Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential with the International Coaching Federation. She holds a Bachelor of Social Work from James Madison University and a Masters in e-Commerce from George Mason University. She also studied at the Universidad de Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain, which was a formative experience in seeing herself as a global citizen. She is certified in Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), Leadership Circle 360 Profile, DiSC Profile, Five Behaviors of a Cohesive Team, EQ-i 2.0 and EQ-i 360, and as a Global Career Development Facilitator.

Rachel understands first-hand how difficult and exciting it can be to switch careers or into a leadership position. Her myriad roles have included Leadership Coach and Organizational Development Consultant, Project Manager (in both IT and HR), Assistant Director, and Chief of Staff positions. She was selected for and attended a customized Fellows Program at the Federal Executive Institute in 2008-2009. She has 7 years of private sector experience and over 13 years of federal government experience.
Rachel’s outside interests reflect her broad curiosity and exploration. She loves being outdoors (mostly by the sea or in her vegetable garden), with her dog, friends and family, or at a baseball game. She enjoys traveling, going to concerts, reading, and Zumba. She is a featured contributing blogger for The Huffington Post in areas of mental well-being and work/life balance.
